ISLAMABAD
Former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has appeared in Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad after four years to surrender before the court in Toshakhana case.
Judge Muhammad Bashir of AC allowed Nawaz Sharif to return after hearing Toshakhana case Tuesday.
AC accepted bail of Nawaz Sharif against surety bonds in the sum of Rs 10 lac. The court directed Nawaz Sharif to sign rolls.
The lawyer Nazir Ahmad Tarar said the roads outside are closed. There are people all over there.
Judge inquired where is Mian Nawaz Sharif
Advocate Chaudhry Abdul Khaliq replied he has come and is present in court room. Judicial papers were got signed by Nawaz Sharif. On being granted permission by the court Nawaz Sharif left the court and went.
NAB prosecutor said Nawaz Sharif has surrendered, therefore, his warrants be rejected. If the warrants are rejected then case will run ahead.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till November 20 saying copies will be distributed on next hearing.
