Nawaz urges religious scholars to play role in eradicating extremism

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supreme leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has urged religious scholars to play their part to eliminate extremism from society, so that Sialkot-like incidents may never happen again.
According to details, Chairman of Central Council of religious leaders in Pakistan Zahid Mehmood Qasmi Tuesday called on Nawaz Sharif in London.
Talking on the occasion, former prime minister said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was united under the leadership of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Nawaz termed Pakistan as a special gift by Allah.
He said that one day Pakistan will emerge as ‘most successful country’ at global stage and his party [PML-N] ideology was the only way to achieve that goal.
Nawaz Sharif on this occasion asked religious leaders to come forward and play a role to get rid of extremism in Pakistan so that incidents like Sialkot lynching case may not happen again.
Zahid Mehmood Qasmi on this occasion said that nation was in dire need of a courageous, brave leader at the moment and assured Nawaz Sharif of his full support to PDM.
