ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has scaled up power tariff by Rs 3.27 per unit for K-Electric consumers. Notification on increase in power tariff has been issued. The increase in tariff has been made under the head of fuel price adjustment for the month of January. According to NEPRA the increased tariff will be charged through the electricity bills for the month of April. This enhancement will entail additional financial burden of Rs 3.58 billion to the consumers of Karachi. On the other side NEPRA has presented further proposal for enhancing power tariff across the country. Online
