RAWALPINDI: Punjab government has accorded approval to construct a new 100-bed hospital in Tehsil Kahuta and a new university in Union Council Channam. According to media reports, Tehsil Headquarters hospital Kahuta has also been upgraded. State of the art machinery, ultra sound, ventilators, wheel chairs and necessary modern equipment worth Rs 10 million have also been provided in operation theatre. The funds for new construction of new hospital will be provided in the next financial year budget. ONLINE
