Nine held in police crackdown against criminals

Pahari Pura Police Station claimed to have arrested nine accused during its crackdown against anti-social elements and recovered cash, a Kalakov, pistol, ice-drug and gambling materials from their possessions. During the crackdown, SHO Paharipura Police Station Abdullah Jalal arrested suspects involved in gambling at Nawab Khan Hujra in Babu Town. The arrested persons belong to different areas of the provincial capital and were allegedly involved in drugs addiction, gambling, and other unlawful activities. Separate cases have been registered against the arrested accused and owner of the Hujra where the gambling was staged was also arrested by the police.
Police said that the arrested accuseds were identified as Nawab, Sartaj, Yaseen, Bahadur, Khalid, Shakir, Jalil, Abdul Hameed and Rohullah.
