Attock: Attock Police during crackdown over anti social elements arrested as many as nine outlaws besides busting an inter district gang of robbers. According to the Police spokesman, Attock Saddar Police acting on a tip off that a gang of robbers are present near Dhoke Pathan in the woods and planning for major robbery- a police party raided there and arrested Muhammad Anas, Noor Saleeh and an Afghan national Shamshair Khan while three other managed to escape taking advantage of dark. Different weapons were also recovered from their possession. Online
The spokesman has said that haunt has launched to arrest three fleecing members of the gang identified as Mastan Khan, Aabid Ali and Abdul Qadir- all natives of different parts of KP.
He further said that city Police raided at a gambling den near bus stand and arrested four persons while gambling. He informed that gambling tools and cash worth Rs 31 thousand was also recovered from their possession.
He informed hat Attock Saddar Police foiled a bid to supply 80 liters of locally made liquor and arrested a liquor supplier identified as Muhammad Zahid. While Attock Khurd Police arrested a proclaimed offender wanted in murder and dacoity cases identified as Muhammad Babar. The spokesman has said that separate cases were registered against the accused.
