According to details, nine people were killed in a shootout between two sides of the Juneja and Kalhora communities in Madeji.
There was an old feud between two groups of Juneja and Kalhora communities in Madeji’s Kacha area which flared up again. And the two sides started firing at each other with sophisticated weapons, killing nine people on both sides.
The deceased have been identified as Madan Junejo, Mirza Junejo, Mashooq Junejo, Ashiq Mangnejo, Ali Raza Junejo, Badal Kalhora and others.
A large contingent of police has been deployed to reduce tensions in the area, police said.
