KARACHI
Sindh High Court (SHC) has said no compromise can be made on the liberties of citizens and constitution has given guarantee for it.
The petitions for recovery of 6 citizens who had gone missing from different areas came up for hearing Friday,
The court expressed dissatisfaction and annoyance over the reports of investigating agencies.
Justice Nemat Ullah Phulpoto remarked you cannot satisfy the court by preparing traditional reports.
The investigating officer said in the court several meetings of JIT and task force have been held. All steps are being taken. Letters have been written to jails all over the country and other institutions.
The state counsel said financial assistance has been approved for the affected family.
The family members got annoyed over on offer of financial assistance.
The family members said we want Muhammad Tahir, We pay tax more than what financial assistance is given by the government.
According to petitioner Muhammad Tahir is missing from the area of New Town Karachi since 2018.
