Islamabad: One of the most prominent achievements this year is NUST’s remarkable leap in the subject of Computer Science, acsending 50 positions globally from 164th in 2025 to 114th in 2026. In addition, the university has retained its No. 1 position in Pakistan in the broad subject area of Engineering &; Technology. NUST also continues to feature distinctly across multiple disciplines, featuring distinctly among the world’s top institutions. It has been ranked among the top 150–200 globally in key Engineering and Computing fields, while maintaining a consistent presence in the top 300–350 categories across a wide spectrum of subjects, including Natural Sciences and related domains. This reflects strong performance across leading disciplines alongside growing presence in emerging fields.
