NWGH-II hosts free medical camp

PESHAWAR: Northwest General Hospital and Research Centre II organized a transformative free medical camp, bringing together a wide array of medical specialties to promote community well-being and social development. The event was a resounding success, offering essential healthcare services to more than 500 patients, completely free of charge. The camp featured expert consultations across General Medicine, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, Paediatrics, Urology and Psychiatry. In addition to consultations, the camp offered several free diagnostic tests, ensuring comprehensive care for attendees. To further support accessibility, ultrasound and X-ray services were provided at half the usual cost, with ultrasounds and X-rays performed during the event. This initiative underscored NWGH-II’s commitment to bridging healthcare gaps and addressing the community’s medical needs. By providing free consultations, diagnostic tests, and affordable imaging services, the camp made a significant impact on the health and well-being of the community, fostering a healthier, more empowered society.
