PESHAWAR
Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has termed the convening of Organisation of Islamic Countries (OICs) summit in Islamabad as a milestone to prevent human catastrophe and crisis in war-ravaged Afghanistan.
In a statement issued here on Friday, Faiq said the OIC meeting aimed to garner support of members’ countries to avert any human disastrous situation, which would likely prevail amid acute shortage of food and non-foods items and other utensils amid chilly weather in war-torn Afghanistan.
He called upon the Islamic countries to adopt a unified approach to resolve issues of restive Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine through plebiscite or as per wishes of the people of these nations.
Importantly, he said the unanimity would help to understand issues of these unstable countries by the whole world.
The restless Afghanistan is being confronted with a famine like situation since the pullout of US led alliance troops after decade long invasion in the landlocked Afghanistan wherein eventually took over Taliban, Mr Shah observed.
Modi led Indian government is being carried out ‘state-terrorism’ and massacre through its troops in illegal occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K), he added.
A combined strategy is needed to be adopted by all these countries that can help to prevent human disaster in Afghanistan, as well as the occupied valley of Kashmir – known as paradise on the earth and Palestine.
Faiq is highly optimistic that the economic and defence cooperation of Islamic Countries would become cause of formation of a major power in the world as this wish is beat of every Muslim heart.
In the era of globalization, the ATP chairman said the requirement to form a Islamic block at world level is augmented.
Therefore, he urged that a unified stance and strategy should be implemented at a broader spectrum.
