A 35-year-old patient of omicron variant of coronavirus ran away from quarantine center in port city of Karachi. According to details, the infected individual travelled to Karachi from Britain and first tested positive for coronavirus and it omicron was confirmed later through genome sequencing. The patient who was being quarantined at a private hotel on Shahrah-e-Faisal escaped the facility. So far, 38 people have managed to flee quarantine due to the absence of security. On the other hand Pakistan has reported 7 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus.
