One Belt One Road project to go from Gwadar to Afghanistan: Chinese Consul General

Chinese Consul General Yang Yindong has said that Pakistan-China Economic Corridor project is progressing rapidly.
Qatar has also expressed interest in joining the CPEC, while the One Belt One Road project will run from Gwadar to Afghanistan to promote trade.
During an informal conversation with journalists in Karachi, he said that any country can invest in CPEC.
In response to a question, the Chinese Consul General said that the impression about CPEC is wrong that only Chinese engineers or experts are working in this project, but in the current situation, a certain number of Pakistani engineers and experts are also working in CPEC.
He said that along with CPEC, Pakistan and China are also working to change the lifestyle of the local people in Balochistan, especially the local population of Gwadar has been provided with various basic human facilities while providing clean drinking water. The project is in the final stages of completion.
The Chinese Consul General said that the work on the project of installing solar lights in Gwadar city is also going on rapidly.
In response to a question, he said that the construction of the international airport in Gwadar has been completed, the state-of-the-art project is going to be inaugurated very soon.
Chinese Consul General Ying Yindong mentioned the ‘One Belt One Road’ expansion program in this project and said that the One Belt One Road project will go from Gwadar to Afghanistan, which will promote trade in the region.
