PESHAWAR: Approximately one million poor families would get Rs2100 per month stipend under Khyber Pakhutunkhwa (KP) Government’s food card scheme in the province. Food Department’s officials told APP here on Tuesday that Rs25.6 billion would be spent on provision of Rs2100 per month stipends to each deserving family on every 2nd day of the month in Peshawar. The payment would be paid through Bank of Khyber (BoK) in Peshawar while the residents of other districts would get it through different franchises. APP
