Nowshera Opposition parties have demanded a ban on the entry of Defense Minister Pervez Khattak into Nowshera till December 19. They have said that Defense Minister Pervez Khattak and all government MPAs and MNAs should continue to violate the rules of Election Commission and influence local body elections.
By using the offices of all government agencies in Nowshera to achieve their desired results, government employees are trying to harass the election campaign for Kopi TI candidates, Election Commission, District Administration and Nowshera Police on December 19. Remain neutral in the local body elections, otherwise the opposition parties will take the path of resistance along with condemnation against vote theft which will be the sole responsibility of the Election Commission, District Administration and Nowshera Police.
MPA Ikhtiar Wali Khan, President of Pakistan Peoples Party Peshawar Division, Former Provincial Minister Liaquat Shabab, Member of Central Executive Council of Awami National Party Mian Yahya Shah Kakakhel, District President of Awami National Party Jamal Khan Khattak, Jamiat Ulema Amir Qari Muhammad Aslam of Nowshera District Islam, Nowshera Tehsil candidates Mian Babar Shah Kakakhel, Abdul Rehman Khattak, Qari Riazullah, Saeedullah Khan and Abdul Haq Wali addressed a joint press conference after the All Party Conference at Nowshera Press Club. The speakers further said that all government MPAs and MNAs, including Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, are violating the rules and code of conduct of the Election Commission, which is not visible to the Election Commission.
The Election Commission should ban Defense Minister Pervez Khattak till December 19. So that it does not affect the local body elections. PPP Nowshera officials had received notice of violation of rules by the Election Commission. I sat down and asked for government funds By spending it as a political bribe and using the government missionary for its own political purposes, they are bent on strangling democracy for their desired results, but let all the opposition parties and the people of Nowshera steal their dream of rigging.
He further said that it is enough and they will not tolerate any more rigging because from 2015 local body elections to 2018 general elections as much rigging as the PTI should have done, now they will not allow the theft of votes, he added. He added that the elected rulers from other state institutions have kept their houses as slaves, adding that the Election Commission, Nowshera district administration and other state institutions including Nowshera police remained neutral in the December 19 local body elections otherwise all opposition parties in Nowshera.
