Opposition leader attends KP cabinet meeting, pledges support for national security

Leader of the Opposition in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Dr. Ibadullah Khan, attended an emergency cabinet meeting convened by the provincial government on special invitation to discuss the evolving national security situation, said an official handout.
The meeting, which brought together key government officials and opposition representatives, focused on matters of national defense, public safety, and unity in the face of external threats.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ibadullah Khan expressed his unwavering support for Pakistan’s security forces. “We express our full solidarity and support to our armed forces in this critical time. As the opposition, we stand shoulder to shoulder with the government for the sake of national security, putting aside our political differences,” he stated.
He emphasized the need for national unity, saying, “The entire nation must remain united on critical issues such as defense, security, and public safety. We are prepared to face all challenges and will continue to cooperate fully with state institutions.”
