Opposition walks out as NAB, Election bills not brought to discussion in Senate

Opposition walked out from upper house as Senate chairman not allowed them to talk about NAB and election amendments on Thursday.
Opposition also chanted the slogan of ‘NRO Na Manzoor”.
Opposition leader Shehzad Waseem said the plan to pass NAB and Election bill in joint session today is sorrowful as the house is not working as per the people’s aspiration.
They are not legislating but bulldozing the law as they even don’t allow speaking on these bills.
He said imported government priority is to end their own cases as the removed their names from ECL and transferred officials first of all, on which Supreme Court took sou motto.
State minister said these amendments were presented by Imran government but he did not dare to present it in house.
Chairman Senate said this issue has been sent to joint session so the protest should be recorded their and here we should conduct other business of the house.
