Punjab CM for maximum relief for public during Ramadan
LAHORE
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said Monday opposition parties were trying to politically destabilize the country to hinder the composite development process.
In a statement issued on Monday, the CM asserted that the politics of anarchy was against national interest when the country was getting stronger.
“There is a need to maintain unity instead of holding long-march or no-confidence”, he maintained and observed that every Pakistani should prioritize national interest while shunning personal ego.
Usman Buzdar said PM Imran Khan has always given precedence to national interest on every occasion while the opposition’s political manoeuvres revolve around personal stakes; he maintained and emphasised that all are united under PM Imran Khan. Every undemocratic tactic would be fully countered and the government would fulfill its term as the stunt of no confidence would soon fade away, the CM concluded.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister has directed the cabinet committee on price-control to recommend effective steps for giving substantial relief to the citizens in the month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued on Monday, the CM said government would give a Ramadan package, worth billions of rupees to give real relief to the common man.
Ramadan bazaars and agri fair-price shops would be set up across the province to supply eatables at subsidized rates, he announced.
Usman Buzdar, while instructing to provide maximum relief to the consumers, added that the scope of ‘sahulat bazaars’ would be permanently expanded to save shoppers from artificial price-hikes.
CM directed to make Ramadan bazaars functional from the last week of Sha’ban adding that he would visit them. Similarly, ministers and administrative secretaries would also visit them to complement the mission of providing relief to the citizens, he concluded.
