Approval has been accorded to outsource Islamabad International Airport (IIA) for 15 years. According to sources third party will pay 100 million dollars in advance after IIA is outsourced. The agreement will stand cancelled without returning advance payment in the event of any violation. ACustoms site security and immigration service will remain with Civil Aviation Authority. The administrative matters, financial close, design and construction, services charges, exchange rate and shops rent will be the responsibility of third party.
Sources disclosed that third party will be allowed to open shopping mall and brands shops at airport.
