PESHAWAR: The University of Swat Senate on Thursday approved Rs900.709 million annual budget for 2024-25 for the university, said an official handout. The approval was accorded in the meeting chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Higher Education and Pro-Chancellor Meena Khan Afridi. Provincial Minister of Livestock and Fisheries Fazal Hakeem Khan, University Vice Chancellor, Department of Higher Education, Finance, Higher Education Commission Islamabad and other members of the Senate attended the meeting. The forum was briefed about the budget of the university for the year 2024-25. While the year 2023-24 of the university was also reviewed, the salaries of the university staff and other expenses were discussed in detail in the briefing.
