PESHAWAR
Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for Industry and Commerce Abdul Karim Tordheer on Wednesday inaugurated Overseas Investment Desk at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC) head office.
Abdul Karim Khan on this occasion said that the main objective of the Overseas Investment Desk was to provide immediate response to overseas Pakistanis and foreign investors who are interested in investing in the province and want to set up industrial projects.
Javed Khattak CEO KPEZDMC and Adil Salahuddin CCO KPEZDMC were also present on the occasion.
He said that the first priority of the provincial government is to attract foreign investment in the industrial sector of KP.
The KP government committed to improve the infrastructure of the industrial zone, adding that the role of KPEZDMC is commendable for pushing forward the industrialization agenda in the province.
Abdul Karim also attended the meeting on Zoom with the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for CEPEC it was decided to expedite the development work on Chinese investment in Rashkai Special Economic Zone and resolve the obstacles immediately.
The Special Assistant also presided over the briefing meeting on allotment of plots and modernization of economic zones in KP.
He appreciated the work and performance of KPEZDMC in various economic zones of KP.
