Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has said he expects Public Accounts Committee (PAC) members will highlight corruption cases.
“ the corruption cases of previous government should be made public. They should too expose the incumbent government corruption. No one should try to throw dust on corruption cases. Tell me”, he said this while talking to PAC members.
The inside story of PM meeting with PAC members has come to fore.
As per sources PAC members shifted the burden of corruption matter to the shoulders of the bureaucracy.
The PAC members said bureaucracy is not serous in the matters of corruption. When we highlight corruption cases bureaucracy hushes them up. All files pass before the bureaucracy. When we refer the corruption matters to NAB, no major step is taken therein in this regard as well.
Sources said Raiz Fatiana and Noor Alim Khan apprised the PM of the PAC performance.
PM said “ you all are senior politicians. I expect corruptions cases will be highlighted by you. No leniency should be shown to those who support corruption.
Whosoever tries to throw dust on the corruption cases tell me about him. Don’t back track from the policy on elimination of corruption.
Riaz Fatiana told the PM about his performance in PAC. PM looked satisfied over the performance of Riaz Fatiana.
