In a dedicated effort to uplift communities, the Pak Army and Frontier Corps North persist in their commitment to welfare measures across Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Swat, Dir & Chitral.
Over the past week, a series of impactful actions have been undertaken under the directive of high-ranking officials. Embracing tribal and regional customs, Jirgas were convened to address crucial issues including law and order, tourism promotion, and fostering harmony among constituents, district administrations, and security forces.
In an endeavor to nurture healthy lifestyles among the youth, various sports competitions were organized, eliciting spirited participation.
From gymnastics showcases to cricket and volleyball tournaments, these events invigorated local enthusiasm and camaraderie. Under the banner of “Illum Tolo Da Para,” educational initiatives flourished, with speech contests in Mohmand, book fair in Kanju cantt Swat emphasizing the significance of knowledge dissemination.
Noteworthy efforts included lectures on education’s pivotal role, alongside school and madrasah visits to underscore educational advocacy. Addressing healthcare needs, free medical camps were established, extending essential services to over 2000 patients across Mohmand, Chitral, and Khyber. Moreover, provisions of dry rations and blankets were extended to vulnerable families, offering solace amidst harsh winter conditions in Khyber & Bajaur.
Ahead of the forthcoming general election, a meeting convened in Peshawar’s Fort Balahisar, chaired by Inspector General Frontier Corps North Major General Noor Wali Khan. Deliberations focused on fortifying law and order protocols during the electoral process, alongside engaging local elders to play thier role.
