Lieutenant General Dauren Kosanov, Minister of Defence of Kazakhstan, called on Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad today.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed strong and friendly bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of defence cooperation between Pakistan and Kazakhstan. The Defence Minister highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthen defence and security collaboration through dialogue, training, and institutional linkages.
The dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security dynamics, and ways to enhance military-to-military engagements.
Lieutenant General Kosanov appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace and stability and expressed a keen interest in expanding cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to deepen bilateral defence relations in the spirit of mutual trust and cooperation.
