Pakistan Day celebrated in Wana

Like other parts of the country, Pakistan Day 23rd (March) was celebrated with great fanfare in Wana, the headquarters of South Waziristan district. The ceremony was attended by Commander Khamrang Brigade Imran, police force officers, tribal elders, Ulamm,s and people from various walks of life.
On this occasion, DC South Waziristan Amjad Meraj hoisted the flag at the Pak Afghan border angoor adda.
Hundreds of vehicles marched from Angoor Ada Gate to Raghzai Bazaar on the occasion of Independence Day. During the rally, Angoor Ada Bazaar resounded with national anthems and slogans of “Long live Pakistan”.
On this occasion, the tribal elders said that there is a long history of sacrifices of the tribes for the beloved homeland.
We all are ready to make any kind of sacrifice for the sake of the beloved homeland.
On the other hand, on the direction of DC South Waziristan, Amjad meraj Additional Assistant Commissioner Wana Dr. Sadiq Ali along with officers of all line departments organized a walk in Wana to celebrated Pakistan Day.
DHO South Waziristan, TMA officials, Red Crescent officials, Ulamma,s, tribal elders, youth and people from all walks of life took part in it.
