In the wake of Pakistan’s Diamond Jubilee 2022 celebrations, nation celebrated 82nd Pakistan day with great zeal and fervor, a great show of power was displayed in the annual military parade.
President Arif Alvi was Chief Guest on this occasion while Prime Minister Imran Khan, the three services chiefs, federal ministers as well as officials and foreign ministers of 57 Muslim countries that are members of the OIC were present for the displays.
One of the important highlights of the parade was the fly-past of F-16, JF-17 and the newly inducted J-10C fighter jets, which were recently acquired from China. The J-10C aircrafts, equipped with cutting-edge technology, were inducted into the Pakistan Air Force’s squadron earlier this month.
Pakistan Army, Navy, Pakistan Air Force, Special Services Groups, Frontier Corps, Rangers, Islamabad police marched past the dais presenting salute to the chief guest.
Armored Core, Artillery, Air Defence and Engineers Core Groups also displayed their powers in the Pakistan Day Parade.
Special Services Group (SSG) Commandos displayed a great free fall demonstration, after which the floats representing all the provinces took a round of the parade ground. OIC and Jammu and Kashmir floats were also displayed for the first time on this occasion.
