Pakistan, Italy enjoy cordial ties: Chairman Senate

Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani said on Tuesday Pakistan and Italy share a close bond based on ‘pleasant’ bilateral ties.
According to details, Italy’s envoy to Islamabad Andreas Ferrarese on Tuesday called on Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani here at Parliament House.
Matter of mutual interest and overall regional situation were discussed during the meeting. It was also agreed upon to enhance bilateral trade between the two countries.
Chairman Senate said during the meeting that Italian companies should make the most out of investment opportunities in Pakistan. Pakistan pays special heed to its ties with Italy and global cooperation was imperative to tackle socio-economical pressures created by the COVI-19 pandemic, Sanjrani added.
Italian envoy lauded Pakistan’s efforts for regional stability and his country will work to further strengthen diplomatic ties with Pakistan.
