Ahead of second test match against Australia, national cricket team’s captain Babar Azam said Friday Pakistan’s batting line-up was not afraid of Australian bowling attack, adding that his side performed ‘brilliantly’ in the first Rawalpindi test.
Second test match will start Saturday at the National Stadium Karachi.
Talking to an online press conference, Pakistan skipper said Australia is a world class team and defeating them is ‘compulsory’ to gain confidence. He said National Stadium Karachi’s conditions are quite different to those of Rawalpindi stadium. “We will try to win second test in Karachi’s hot weathers,” he added.
Babar Azam hoped Karachi’s pitch will assist spinners, adding that his team was not afraid of losing; however, they will try to win the match.
