ISLAMABAD
Pakistan has received the Council President Certificate award from International Civil Aviation Organization for making significant improvements in aviation security. The award was given during the closing ceremony of 42nd session of the International Civil Aviation Organization’s Assembly held in Canada. The award was received by the Director General Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority Nadir Shafi Dar. Speaking on the occasion, the Director General Civil Aviation Authority reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued commitment towards International Civil Aviation Organization’s standards and recommended practices.
He said the importance Pakistan attaches to aviation security is evident from the results of the International Civil Aviation Organization’s audits of our aviation sector.
