Pakistan Writers Guild KP chapter held meeting

The executive committee of the Pakistan Writers Guild Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter held an important meeting here on Friday.
The meeting was chaired by Ms. Samina Qadir, and attended by its members including Prof Aseer Mangal, Prof Dr Zafarullah Bakhshali, Ms. Bushra Farah, Sher Wali Khan Orkaze, Prof Dr Tariq Mehmood Danish, Prof Malik Arshad, Iftikhar Tishna and Dr Noorul Basraman.
Provincial Secretary of the association Prof Aseer Mangal on this occasion said that Ms. Bushra Farah has been honored by the government of Pakistan for her academic and literary services.
It is a matter of pride for the guild that a prestigious ceremony should be organized in her honor.
The Executive Council agreed to this proposal and fixed 23rd June 2023 as the date for the ceremony while unanimously nominated Professor Malik Arshad Hussain as the candidate for the Central General Secretary.
In the meeting, condolence was also expressed on the death of Khazan Shiroli Khan’s maternal uncle and Syed Sabir Shah Sabir’s mother, and concern was expressed over the illness of Haji Faqir Hussain Masroor.
Haji Faqir Hussain Masroor will also be presented with a souvenir by the guild for his valuable services.
