Pakistan’s new opening pair scores at impressive rate

Pakistan on Monday tested a new opening pair during a warm up fixture against England for the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup.
Shan Masood and Haidar Ali came to open the innings at The Gabba here Monday, as young Shadab Khan lead the team against England.
Haidar and Shan scored with ease during batting power play as they posted 49 runs in 4.5 overs with Pakistan scoring an impressive 66/1 in the first six. Haider Ali scored 18 off 16 with the help of three fours while Shan Masood made 22-ball 39, powered by seven fours.
Babar and Rizwan have been opening for the last 18 months, so it is impossible that Pakistan will change their opening pair for the mega event.
Meanwhile, the netizens were happy with Pakistan’s start and loved the free-flowing approach.
