Parents’ Day observed at Cadet College Karamapur

The 2nd annual Parents’ Day ceremony was held at Cadet College Karamapur. The program was started with the recitation of verses from Holy Qur’an and Naat Khawani.The Principal Cadet College Mohammad Hashim Memon warmly welcomed to all the guests especially Parents and relatives of the cadets. Major General Aamer Amin, General Officer Commanding 16 division graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Although Military personnel, social figures, notables of city and others were present at the ceremony and fully enjoyed the various segments and activities performed by cadets. While addressing the ceremony, Major General Aamer Amin appreciated the services of Cadet College Karamapur mainly provision of quality education, infrastructure facilities, faculty and character building of the cadets.
The Chief Guest also reviewed the Parade and was extremely enthralled by the upright standing Cadets. He also appreciated the efforts of cadets in putting up parade, PT, gymnastics, horse riding and other physical activities.
He also praised the improvement the college which had made in discipline, academics as well as infrastructure.
Thereafter the cadets presented the culture of all four provinces. Later the cadets received appreciation certificates, medals and shields from chief guest for their outstanding performance in different activities.
Talking to guests principal Mohammad Hashim Memon said that this day realize us about the importance of the parents since they have come to this world because of their parents, they gave us birth. Hence parents are the most important part of our life.
We can’t imagine anyone else is too much rather than our parents. He informed to guests that despite limited resources and funds college provides modern facilities to the cadets.
