Islamabad: A ten-member parliamentary delegation headed by Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Soori on Wednesday left for Turkey to attend 16th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Countries. According to details, two-day conference, based on the topic ‘Islamic Ideologies, Palestine, Migration and Afghanistan’ is being held in Istanbul today (Thursday). The conference is being attended by the Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Parliaments of the Islamic Countries along with the Parliamentary Delegations. In addition to the delegation’s participation in the conference, the parliamentary delegation will meet parliamentary leadership s of Turkey and other visiting delegations during its stay. Pakistan’s delegation includes deputy speaker Qasim Khan Soori, MNA Rana Tanvir Hussain, Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, Muhammad Israr Tarin, Gul Zafar Khan, Aslam Khan and other members of National Assembly.
