Islamabad – February 13 (Online): PTI’s parliamentary party’s meeting was held on Saturday under the Chairmanship of PM, where the ruling party confirmed more names from all provinces for the coming senate polls.
PTI’s Punjab’s candidate for general seat is Saifullah Niazi. Aijaz Chaudhry is also expected to be awarded with the ticket. Umar Cheema and Jamshed Umar’s names were also considered during the meeting.
Women seat’s ticket from Punjab will be allotted to Dr. Zarqa. KPK’s general seat’s candidate is Shibli Faraz and Mohsin Aziz. Zeeshan Khanzada, Faisal Saleem will also be candidates from KPK. Technocrats seats from KPK will be awarded to Dost Muhammad while women’s seats will be given to Sania Nishtar and Farzana Javed.
PTI confirmed Gurdeep Singh’s name for minority seat, Abdul Qadir from Baluchistan’s general seat while Abdul Hafeez Sheikh from Islamabad.
Faisal Vawda will contest for Sindh’s general seat while Saifullah Abru for Sindh’s technocrats’ seat.
