PBF condemns terrorism, terms it conspiracy against Islam, country

President of Pakistan Business Forum (PBF) Mian Usman Zulfiqar has condemned terrorism in a Masjid of Police Lines Peshawar and termed the killing of worshippers as a conspiracy against Islam and Pakistan.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he expressed condolence and sympathies for the victims of the terrorist attack and asked the government to provide all kinds of medical assistance to the injured police personnel.
The forum has also called for taking of special and immediate steps to secure places of worship and public places. In order to make Pakistan a hub of peace, complete disassociation with proscribed groups and their sympathizers and facilitators must be expressed.
He said that the terrorist attack on a Masjid of Police Lines is the continuation of the series of bloody terrorist attacks on Jamia Masjid Kucha Risaldar and APS Peshawar that is aimed at destabilizing Pakistan.
He said that the government should abandon compromises and ensure implementation of all points of the National Action Plan to protect the precious lives of the people. He urged people to stay peaceful and alert while keeping a vigilant eye on evildoers to be able to thwart conspiracy of the common enemy with mutual unity.
Usman Zulfiqar further said terrorists have no religion, sect or country and therefore strict and indiscriminate action must be taken against them. He has also demanded the formation of a broad judicial tribunal to probe into the tragic terrorist attack on the Masjid inside the police lines.
