PCB likely to appoint Muhammad Yousuf as permanent batting coach

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) may soon appoint batting legend Muhammad Yousuf as Pakistan’s permanent batting coach, local media reported Thursday.
Recently, Yousuf’s was released from the position of batting coach at the National High-Performance Centre (NHPC), Lahore.
Previously, Australian former batter Mathew Hayden was linked with the green shirts in their batting coach’s role. However, Geo News reported Thursday citing sources that Hayden will not be available for coming World T20I in Australia.
Yousuf is currently working with Team Pakistan in Sri Lanka where the green shirts on Wednesday secured victory in first Test at Galle through a record run chase.
