PESHAWAR
The central and provincial leadership of component parties of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former Prime Minister Khan will suffer an unprecedented defeat in the upcoming by-elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Addressing PDM’s power show in connection with the by-polls in the province in district Charssadda, ANP senior leader Amir Haider Khan Hoti criticized PTI chairman Imran Khan for holding public rallies to regain power but oblivion to lawlessness across the province.
He said that PTI provincial government and party chairman has observed pin drop silence over the law and order situation in northern districts of the province, adding that a number of incidents of terrorism happened but the party leader was remain tight-lipped.
“In Swat, people are demonstrating for peace, but the incumbent government of PTI in the province is running away from taking any measure for people protection,” he added.
Addressing the election rally in Parang Stadium Charsadda, Amir Haider Khan Hoti the mandate of the province was allegedly stolen and power was handed over to PTI through manipulated polls.
The public meeting was also addressed by the JUI-F chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman. He said that up-coming by-polls in the province would decide the future course of Imran Khan.
“Imran Khan will face defeat in the polls as his narrative of real freedom movement has been exposed by the recent audio leaks,” Maulana added and said that PDM has decided to face PTI on all fronts and exposed PTI’s sheer incompetence and mismanagement with country’s economy.
The rally was also addressed by Chairman QWP central chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, Provincial President PML-N Engineer Amir Muqam ANP provincial president Amil Wali Khan.
