PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said ordinance on fake news is another source of stifling the voice of truth.
“ Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan says don’t panic and time has come for panicking by him. Consultation is underway for vote of no confidence. They should go to the people after vote of no trust instead of becoming part of failed set up. Example is there in Mohsin Baig case. Police and institutions should not become part of revengeful acts of Imran Khan, he said this while talking to media men here Tuesday.
He claimed Imran Khan has ruined the economy. Inflation is on rise. The prices of gas and electricity have gone up., he added.
He went on to say the office of president is office of state. Today president works on daily wages basis as employee of state. But now the president is left with only one job which is promulgation of ordinance. Government devastated the parliament. Now it is striving to choke the voice of people and media.
He remarked it is not known what was the need of promulgating PECA ordinance. PECA act is aimed at stifling the voice of the people. Baseless cases are being registered. The case of Mohsin Baig is before all of us.
