Justice Umar Ata Bandial has remarked people take the system of justice into their hands in our society.

A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Umar Ata Bandial took up for hearing the case pertaining to land dispute between PML-N leader Capt (Retd) Safdar and brother of former judge Ijaz Afzal here Wednesday.

The court while ordering to shift the case to sessions court Abbottabad ordered the respective courts to decide the case soon.

The court also shifted the cases of bail before arrest and abolition of FIR to sessions court Abbotabad too in this case.

Justice Umar Ata Bandial remarked is it appropriate thing to assemble one thousand people outside the court of judge in Mansehra and pressurize the judge to give decision.

He further remarked people take justice system in their hands in our society. You know what happened with judge in Mandi Baha ud Din. Should only judiciary take action in such incidents. Then what is responsibility of the state. Maintaining rule of law is our responsibility.

Azam Nazir Tarar counsel for Capt (Retd) Safdar argued we have no problem if the case is transferred any where other than Mansehra.
