Punjab information minister Azma Bukhari has said people are going to get good news soon about reduction in the prices of petroleum products and positive announcement in this regard is likely in next week.
She said this while talking to media men here Thursday.
She said government is taking practical steps for extending maximum relief to the people.
She held governor should focus on prevailing situation in Sindh instead of criticizing unjustly. Serious measures are needed to be taken to address the problems facing people of Sindh. Service to people should be prioritized than political point scoring.
Pakistan’s positive and balanced role is being appreciated at global level in the perspective of US-Iran conflict.
Talking with reference to Local Bodies (LB) polls she said LB polls are likely in Punjab within two to three months.
She urged all political parties to start making preparations for election and play role for strengthening democratic process at grass root level.
Arrangements in connection with Muharram ul Haram have been made in effective way all over the province and the respective institutions are ensuring provision of every possible facility to azadars so that they could perform their religious obligation in peaceful atmosphere.
Punjab government is taking effective steps for providing the best facilities and security to Azadars, she added.
