PESHAWAR
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) suffered a setback in Mardan after Jalal Khattak and Bilal Khattak, close relatives of Pervez Khattak, formally joined Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday.
PML-N provincial president Amir Muqam welcomed Jalal Khattak and Bilal Khattak, MPAs Jamshid Mohmand and Ikhtiar Walik and other leadership of the party were also present on the occasion.
Speaking at the provincial secretariat in Peshawar, PML-N-KP president Amir Muqam said that people have come to know that only Nawaz Sharief and Shahbaz Sharief could lead the country in the right direction, adding that Imran Khan economic policies have faced the nation with inflation and unemployment.
Engineer Amir Muqam said that sooner or later most of the leaders will say goodbye to PTI.
He alleged PTI government in the centre and province for their incompetence.
PTI leaders Jalal Khattak and Bilal Khattak both are close relatives of Pervaz Khattak and were associated with PTI since 2013.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ahad Khattak, the nephew of defence Minister Pervez Khattak, along with supporters had joined Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
