PESHAWAR
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) Gul Nabi Sayed has assured the Industrialists Association Peshawar (IAP) of resolution of their electricity related issues in Peshawar Economic Zone.
He gave this assurance during a meeting with a delegation of industrialists which called on him here on Monday. President IAP Malik Imran Ishaq led the delegation.
Chairman IAP Standing committee on PESCO & SNGPL Malik Mohsin Sajjad, Executive member IAP Riaz Arshad and Zone Manager KP-EZDMC Rafiq along with relevant staff were also present on the occasion.
Talking to the delegation, the CEO PESCO assured complete support, facilitation and precedence to industries.
The CEO directed Superintendent Engineer (SE) Khyber to release material needed for re-conducting the Industrial estate feeder at Khyber Match road and to obtain PTW for re-conducting, positively with immediate effect.
He further directed Project Director Construction to start necessary action on Olympia Feeder bifurcation as demand has already been paid along with escalation. No further delays in the matter were solicited.
He said that an additional 40 MV transformer would be installed into the system to enhance the capacity of the grid station and planned for an underground electrification system to decrease possibilities of losses due to unwarranted tripping.
He also directed enhancing and maintaining dedicated staff and resources for the Sub-Div office of Peshawar Economic Zone.
