The Dispute Resolution Council (DRC), a council set up by the police to resolve disputes among people amicably, has successfully resolved a number of disputes among the citizen in the provincial capital.
According to details, DRC councils have been set up by Peshawar police where problems and disputes of thousands of citizens have been successfully resolved. The members of the DRCs resolved a long standing dispute among the two parties amicably.
On this occasion, SP City Atiq Shah while talking to both the parties clarified that besides protection of life and property of the people, they also believe in solving their problems at their doorsteps for which in different police stations.
While acknowledging the decision taken by the DRC members, both sides embraced each other, forgetting their business grievances. On the occasion both parties appreciated the role of police in resolving the issue peacefully.
