Peshawar police bust drug supplier with liquor, Ice

Police initiated a crackdown on liquor and other drug sellers across the provincial capital.
Acting on confidential information received by SP Faqirabad Division Muhammad Arshad Khan, a successful operation was carried out by SHO Gulbahar Police Station Rafiq Khan under the supervision of DSP Gulbahar Circle Akhtar Naseer Khan. During the raid, police arrested an accused involved in the illegal trade of alcohol and the drug known as “ice.”
The arrested individual, identified as Muhammad Saleem is a resident of Ganj area of Peshawar.
Police claimed that the arrested person supplying alcohol and ice directly to customers at their doorsteps in various parts of the city. Police recovered 28 bottles of alcohol and 1100 grams of ice from his possession. A motorcycle used in the illicit activity was also seized.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to running a drug supply operation. A formal case has been registered against him, and further investigation is underway.
The Peshawar police reaffirmed their commitment to continue decisive action against those involved in the distribution of drugs, weapons, and other illegal items in the city.
