In line with the vision of Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Zulfiqar Hameed, Capital City Police Officer Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad on Thursday handed over appointment orders to the children of police martyrs as Assistant Sub-Inspectors (PASIs).
The ceremony was held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, Peshawar.
The officers who received their appointment letters include Zahid Khan, son of Shaheed Constable Saleem Khan; Muhammad Suleman, son of Shaheed Constable Asghar Khan; Hamza Ali, son of Shaheed Constable Iftikhar; Muhammad Sohaib, son of Shaheed Constable Muhammad Tayyab; Muhammad Sameer Shah, son of Shaheed Constable Amin Shah; Daniyal, son of Shaheed Constable Muhammad Zakir; Moaz Gul, son of Shaheed SI Sahar Gul; and Shahkar Nawaz, son of Shaheed DSP Arab Nawaz.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad said the sacrifices rendered by police martyrs for the defence of the country and the nation were a “glorious chapter” in history that would always be remembered in golden letters.
He urged the newly recruited officers to follow in the footsteps of their forefathers and play an active role in serving the country and the nation, curbing crime, and eliminating social evils.
The newly inducted officers pledged to serve the country with honesty, dedication and the spirit of sacrifice.
