PHC grants transit bail to PTI leaders Umar Ayub, Asad Qaisar others

Peshawar High Court (PHC) has approved transit bail of PTI leader Umar Ayub, former speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaisar, MNA Zartaj Gul and Faisal Amin Gandapur brother of Chief Minister (CM) KP and directed them to appear in respective courts till October 10.
Cases were registered against MNA Zartaj Gul and other party leaders for holding public meeting in Islamabad on September 8.
PTI leaders Asad Qaisar, Umar Ayub and Zartaj Gul filed petitions in PHC for transit bail.
Justice Shakil Ahmad of PHC heard the petition.
The court while accepting transit bail of all the four PTI leaders ordered them to appear in the respective courts on October 10.
The PTI leaders took the plea in their petition case has been registered against Umar Ayub opposition leader in NA in Islamabad. Case has been registered against Umar Ayub, Asad, Umar and others for holding public meeting in Islamabad. The administration registered cases against PTI leaders for delaying the public meeting for two hours. The petitioners want to appear in the respective courts and they fear they will be arrested. Transit bail be granted so that they could appear in the courts.
PTI leader Zartaj Gul has also taken plea in the petition that case has been registered against her for holding public meeting in Islamabad. PTI MNAs were arrested within the premises of National Assembly (NA). The petitioner be granted transit bail so that she could appear in the court.
Talking to media men Umar Ayub said enforced disappearances can not run in democracy.
