PESHAWAR
Pakistan Hunting and Sports Arms Development Company (PHSADC) and Small Industries Development Board (SIDB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for jointly organizing a three-day Target and Outdoor Shooting Sports (TOSS) Show.
The purpose of the agreement is the marketing of the sporting and hunting industry of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and promotion of export. The show is scheduled from June 10 to June 12, 2022 in Pak-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad.
TOSS Show is the project of PHSADC and all printing material of PHSADC and SIDB will be printed/highlighted as ‘organizers’ of the event. The event management will be the responsibility of PHSADC while arrangement of finances for the show will be the responsibility of SIDB.
The event will be exclusively for families with adult members, single adult male (s) & female (s) entry will be on the national identity card (NIC). Both PHSADC and SIDB will nominate their official as a focal person/s who will coordinate/communicate for organizing the event.
SIDB being mutual organizer will nominate and finalize dignitaries for inaugural/award distribution ceremonies.
Under the agreement, the role of PHSADC will be that of the event management/ facilitation and all no objection certificates (NoCs) regarding exhibition (venue booking, display NoC from Commissioner Islamic Capital Territory (ICT), security clearance from the Ministry of Interior, firearm logistic NoC etc will the sole responsibility of PHSADC.
Selling stalls will be done jointly by both parties while PHSADC will assist and coordinate with SIDB for the marketing of the event. The board will provide 10 interns (male, female) to PHSADC and will also pay an amount of Rs.1 million to PHSADC as ‘Toss Show Mobilization Advance’ immediately after signing of the memorandum.
