Chairman Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) Fahimur Rahman Saigol, while addressing the reception organized by the representatives of Disposable Packaging Association, said that PIAF will carry on its commitment of raising the voice of the business community. Traders are the backbone of the economy and the caretaker government should take immediate steps to reduce electricity rates otherwise the Piaf will also join the protest movement. The government should reframe the policies in consultation with the relevant stakeholders and the issues of the business community should be resolved immediately. Fahimur Rahman Sehgal said that the business community along with PIAF is strengthened by joining various business organizations in PIAF.
On this occasion, along with Disposable Packaging Association, trade organizations of Science Market, Abakari Road and Anarkali Market along with their officials along with hundreds of members announced their affiliation with PIAF in the presence of the media. President FPCCI Irfan Iqbal Shaikh, former presidents Muhammad Ali Mian Abuzar Shad, Senior Vice Chairman Nasrullah Mughal, Vice Chairman Tahir Manzoor Chaudhary, Senior Vice President Lahore Chamber Zafar Mahmuru and others visited Abkari Road, Science Market, Anarkali, Urdu Bazar and Hundreds of traders from adjacent markets were welcomed and congratulated for joining the PIAF.
On this occasion, Mian Anjum Nisar, Fahimur Rehman Sehgal and others said that the daily joining of various parties in PIAF is a proof of the effectiveness of PIAF for businessmen. Piaf is the power of businessmen and the voice of businessmen who has been advocating for the rights of businessmen and solving their problems at every forum. For the last 26 years, PIAF has been advocating for the business community not only in Lahore but also at the Pakistan level from the platform of Federation of Pakistan Chambers.
