RAWALPINDI
The Rawalpindi administration has taken immediate notice of the difficulties faced by citizens and lifted restrictions imposed on the issuance of various types of land record documents at Arazi Record Centres across the district.According to sources, the issuance of record Fard, bank-required Fard and Fard related to NEC for obtaining loans has now been restored at centres including Rawat, Raja Bazaar and other locations.
The restrictions had created difficulties for citizens seeking bank financing against their plots or houses, particularly those intending to construct homes under housing finance facilities.
Citizens have welcomed the administration’s prompt action, describing it as a positive step towards facilitating housing finance. They said the restrictions had become a major hurdle for people seeking bank loans for home construction and were also affecting the implementation of government housing initiatives. The public appreciated the administration for taking timely notice of the issue and removing the restrictions, saying the move would provide much-needed relief to citizens and help make the process of obtaining housing loans easier.Citizens also urged the authorities to ensure that necessary safeguards and transparency in land records remain in place while avoiding unnecessary hurdles for those seeking loans for construction of their homes.
