PESHAWAR: In order to inspect funds utilization in line with government directives, the Provincial Inspection Team (PIT) has decided to launch a physical inspection of government schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). According to a notification issued here on Saturday the inspection teams will visit all districts of the province and will inspect the funds utilization process and its output. According to a document, Secretary PIT has written a letter to the Secretary to the Elementary & Secondary Education Department, requesting for provision of records including funds under Parent Teacher Council (PTC) and its utilization during the last two years. “The Provincial Inspection Team (PIT) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will conduct inspection of Government schools in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa”, the letter says, adding that “During the inspection details regarding PTC Funds and its utilization at school levels will also be checked”. PIT has requested the Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education Department to provide a detailed report regarding total allocation of PTC funds for the last two years, its distribution and further utilization by the concerned district and schools.
